Overview
This web application is an online learning platform that helps both new and current employees understand the customer’s main rules and their own responsibilities. It provides clear, structured courses to ensure everyone is aligned and well-informed.
Challenge
I joined the project during its active development phase and took full ownership of the design process. The roadmap for the admin interface was already well-defined and clear. However, user part only had a raw feedback data.
Research
Feedback and statistics
I began by analysing the collected feedback — over 8,000 user responses — along with available reports. This research helped identify the most common user pain points and informed the direction for improving the overall experience.
Survey
Next, I designed a survey to gather more precise insights and to build a list of potential participants for user interviews.

Redesign
Changes
I restructured the logic behind tags and statuses, adjusted the information hierarchy on user cards, separated active and completed programs into dedicated tabs, and introduced sorting options to enhance usability and clarity.
Achievement
The new design provides users with a clearer starting point and a more focused experience. Completed programs are now separated, preventing them from distracting users from their active tasks. Additionally, users can now choose the order in which to complete programs, giving them greater flexibility and control over their learning journey.
Reflection
This project showed how valuable user feedback can be in driving real improvements. Based on research, we started a redesign to fix key pain points. I also led the move from Sketch to Figma, which made teamwork between designers and developers much smoother. Overall, it was a great chance to improve both the product and our design process.
